By accessing or using uldl.sh ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

uldl.sh provides a file upload and download service accessible via command-line interface. Users can upload files, text snippets, and other content for temporary or permanent storage and sharing.

3. User Accounts

Some features require account registration. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Upload, share, or distribute illegal content
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Harass, abuse, or harm others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Use the service for spam or unsolicited communications

5. Content and Data

You retain ownership of content you upload. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store and serve your content. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these terms without notice.

6. User Content Disclaimer

The Service allows users to upload, store, and share content. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are solely responsible for all content you upload, share, or transmit through the Service
  • We do not pre-screen, monitor, review, or endorse any user-uploaded content
  • We act solely as a passive conduit and hosting provider for user content
  • We have no obligation to monitor content but reserve the right to remove any content at our sole discretion
  • We are not responsible or liable for any user content, including but not limited to illegal, infringing, defamatory, obscene, or harmful content uploaded by users
  • Any reliance on content uploaded by other users is at your own risk

7. Copyright and DMCA

We respect intellectual property rights and expect users to do the same. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, please contact us at legal@uldl.sh with:

  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to be infringed
  • Identification of the allegedly infringing material and its location on the Service
  • Your contact information (name, address, email, phone number)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use is not authorized
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
  • Your physical or electronic signature

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content. Repeat infringers will have their accounts terminated.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Service operator, and any affiliates, from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Any content you upload, share, or transmit through the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms of Service
  • Your violation of any third-party rights, including intellectual property or privacy rights
  • Any claim that your content caused damage to a third party

9. Storage and Retention

Free tier uploads are subject to size limits and retention periods as specified in our pricing. We are not responsible for data loss. Users are encouraged to maintain their own backups.

10. No Liability for Data Loss

YOU EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE THAT THE SERVICE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY LOSS, DELETION, CORRUPTION, OR FAILURE TO STORE ANY DATA, CONTENT, OR FILES UPLOADED TO OR STORED THROUGH THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF THE CAUSE. This includes, but is not limited to, data loss resulting from:

  • System failures, hardware malfunctions, or software errors
  • Security breaches, hacking, or unauthorized access
  • Service outages, maintenance, or discontinuation
  • Human error, whether by you, us, or third parties
  • Natural disasters, acts of God, or force majeure events
  • Third-party service provider failures
  • Account termination or suspension
  • Any other cause whatsoever, whether foreseeable or unforeseeable

You are solely responsible for maintaining backups of all data you upload to the Service. The Service is not intended to be used as a primary or sole storage solution. We strongly recommend that you keep independent copies of all important data.

11. Service Modifications

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

13. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE OPERATOR SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, REGARDLESS OF WHETHER SUCH DAMAGES ARE BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT, STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US, IF ANY, IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

14. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at our sole discretion, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, and we may delete your content without obligation to retain or provide copies.

15. Age Requirement

You must be at least 13 years of age to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian's permission to use the Service.

16. Third-Party Services

The Service may use third-party services for authentication, storage, and other functionality. We are not responsible for the actions, content, or data processing practices of these third parties. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies.

17. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the Service operator resides, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid by a court of competent jurisdiction, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and the Service operator regarding your use of the Service, and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
